Pat Herbert

Pat Herbert, SPE, executive chairman of JDR Cable Systems, has worked in the oil and gas industry for 38 years. He joined JDR in 2002 as group chief executive officer (CEO) and became executive chairman in 2011. Before joining the company, Herbert held the positions of chief operating officer at Petris Technology, chairman and CEO of GeoNet Energy Services, chairman and CEO of International Energy Services, corporate vice president of Baker Hughes, and vice president of technology for downhole tools at Smith International. He earned a BSE in engineering from California State University at Northridge and an MBA in finance from Pepperdine University.
