Flow Assurance Application Scientist Clariant Oil Services

Sajjaat Muhemmed, SPE, is a flow assurance application scientist at Clariant Oil Services. He holds a PhD degree in engineering and an MS degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University and a bachelors of technology degree in chemical engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. Muhemmed’s expertise covers the development of well-stimulation additives; enhanced-oil-recovery chemicals, foamers, and defoamers; flowback aids; paraffin inhibitors; and other flow assurance chemistries. He serves as a technical reviewer for SPE Journal and as a member of the JPT Editorial Review Board. Muhemmed has been awarded the SPE Outstanding Technical Review Award for 3 consecutive years.
