Wyatt Lindsey

Colorado School of Mines

Wyatt Lindsey is currently a graduate student enrolled in the humanitarian geophysics 2023 program at the Colorado School of Mines. He is interested in the sustainability of the oil and gas industry with a focus on how operations are affected by external forces. For his graduate research, he has learned about stakeholder engagement and how to use qualitative data to coincide with quantitative data for a more encompassing report or research. He believes understanding the challenge, needs, and wants of relevant stakeholders helps generate a better understanding of what is needed from us as geoscientists or engineers, allowing us to think more critically about how to apply geoscience or engineering to better operational practices.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in geology with a minor in geophysics from Texas A&M University.
