Bernard J. Duroc-Danner has stepped down as chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), and president at Weatherford. Duroc-Danner had served in those positions since 27 May 1998. He joined the company in May 1987 to initiate the startup of EVI's oilfield service and equipment business. He was elected EVI's president in January 1990 and CEO in May 1990. He serves on the boards of several companies, including Exterran, LMS Capital, Cal Dive, and Peabody Energy.
Duroc-Danner holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of Business.
