David Reid, SPE, was appointed CTO at NOV. He succeeds Hege Kverneland, SPE, who retired as corporate vice president and CTO. Kverneland joined NOV through the acquisition of Hitec in 1999. Starting in 2001, he was corporate research and development manager and was promoted to CTO in 2009.
