CGE Subsea named Jon Arve Sværen as its new chairman of the board for subsea. Sværen is currenty vice president of business strategy processing at OneSubsea. He has also served as vice president of processing system sales for the company. Sværen's appointment was made along with the appointment of several others to GCE Subsea's board of directors: Tove Ormevik, offshore installation manager at Skarv; Elin Sjødin Drange, head of business development for the Municipality of Bergen; Mads Arild Eidem, head of the materials and subsea operations sectons at DNV GL; Lasse Ståløy, chief executive officer at Radøygruppen; Magnar Aaland, managing director at the Advantec Group; Silje Skarstein, head of services, Norway, at Aker Solutions; and Sissel Rogne, managing director at the Institute of Marine Research.
