Larry Archibald will join Woodside's board of directors as a nonexecutive director effective 1 February. Archibald retired from ConocoPhillips after spending 8 years in senior executive positions including senior vice president, business development and exploration, and senior vice president of exploration. Prior to joining ConocoPhillips, he spent 29 years at Amoco and BP in various positions. Archibald is an advisor to MainSail Energy, Guidestone Energy, and Warbug Pincus. He holds a bachelor of science degree in geosciences from the University of Arizona, a bachelor of arts degree in geology from Colgate University, and a master of business administration degree from Regis College.
