Ørjan Svanevik, chairman of offshore services provider Archer, has resigned from the company’s board of directors. Archer said on Wednesday that it would proceed to elect a new chairman of the board in due course.
Svanevik was appointed to the board of directors in May 2015. He was previously a managing director of the investment advisory firm, Oavik Capital. Before Oavik, he was head of mergers and acquisitions and a partner at Aker, and COO and EVP of Kværner. Svanevik started his career at Schlumberger, where he held various international financial management positions. Svanevik has an AMP degree from Harvard Business School and an MBA from Thunderbird.
