An SPE technical section is a group of SPE members located worldwide who share a common interest in a specific oil and gas technical topic. Technical section members collaborate, exchange ideas, and work on projects related to their technical area of focus.

Technical sections generally prioritize task completion over open discussion, with a goal-oriented approach. Through these sections, members can develop their skills and knowledge, while promoting overall competence within their technical field.

You must be a currently paid SPE member to join a technical section. You can join or renew your membership here.

Technical sections are open to both professionals as well as students. You can learn more about the various SPE technical sections here.
