The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) selected 12 new technologies for its 2020 Spotlight on New Technology Awards. The annual awards program recognizes innovative technologies and allows companies to showcase the latest advances in offshore exploration and production.

Safety champions of the North Sea have been recognized at the 2019 Offshore Safety Awards in Aberdeen for striving to improve safety across offshore operations on the UK continental shelf.

SPE welcomes 86 members into the Legion of Honor, which observes 50 years of consecutive membership in the Society. Each honoree becomes dues-exempt and receives a commemorative plaque marking the milestone. The honorees are listed below under their respective sections.
