The SPE Europe Energy GeoHackathon aims at educating and disseminating knowledge to all the participants on how data science applications can support geothermal energy developments and drive the energy transition. Boot camps begin 21 October.

Registration is open for the SPE Europe Energy GeoHackathon, which will be held in October and November. It will be preceded by 4-week online bootcamp sessions on data science and geothermal energy, which will begin on 2 October.

The event aims to educate energy professionals on data science and have them use those skills on the challenges of geothermal energy.

The Oil and Gas Technology Centre’s first virtual hackathon—Code[Less]—will take place 21–24 September, with 75 participants teaming up to solve challenges, without using coding, to raise awareness of the demand for automation and innovation in the energy sector.
