Cleveland M. Jones

Professor Cleveland M. Jones has been an international consultant to the oil industry, is currently a researcher at INOG—Instituto Nacional de Óleo e Gás of Brazil’s CNPq and member of the Geosciences Advisory Board of NXT Energy Solutions Inc. of Canada. He publishes extensively on strategic concerns and technological developments in the energy industry. Jones graduated in physics and economics from Cornell University. He holds a postgraduate degree in oil and gas engineering, as well as his masters (basin analysis) and doctoral (microbial enhanced oil recovery) degrees in geology from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
