Multiphase Flowmeter System Automates Remote Monitoring

This paper presents various functionalities and benefits of a monitoring tool developed for and used with all critical flowmeters in the operator’s production system.

Subsea multiphase flowmeters (MPFMs) are essential for measuring the production rates of oil, water, and gas and providing reliable forecasts for future operations. Since the initial stages of their development, significant advancements have been made in both the methodology and tools used to monitor MPFMs. This paper presents functionalities of the monitoring tool that the operator has developed and implemented as well as plans and challenges.

Data Analysis

The highlighted tool is a Web-based application, meaning that no installation to personal computers is needed. The tool allows different levels of access rights, ranging from visitor to developer or administrator.
