Six SPE geographical sections across the world have won the 2026 Presidential Award for Outstanding Section.
These awards recognize those members who have contributed exceptional service and leadership to the Society, as well as those who have made major professional contributions to their technical disciplines at the regional level.
Twelve young professionals in the energy industry will join the board.

Ten SPE sections have been awarded the 2023 SPE Presidential Award for Outstanding Section, the highest honor a section can receive. -
The winners of this year’s Drillbotics competition are teams from the University of Stavanger and Clausthal University of Technology. Thirteen teams registered last fall, coming from seven countries spanning four continents.
