Recognition by peers creates a special feeling of gratitude and the desire to redouble efforts. SPE awards can be a boost to your career.

The SPE Outstanding Associate Editor Award is presented to those who have distinguished themselves as high-performing associate editors for SPE’s peer-reviewed journals. Twenty-three SPE members have been named as recipients this year.

Each year during its Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, SPE honors members whose outstanding contributions to SPE and the petroleum industry merit special distinction. Recipients will be recognized at the Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, 4 October.

Every year, SPE recognizes members who have made an exceptional effort to ensure the technical excellence of the Society’s peer-reviewed journals. For their contributions, the following individuals are recipients of the 2022 Outstanding Technical Reviewer Award.

The ATCE Startup Village is a partnership between SPE and the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship at Rice University. Find out which firms took this year's top honors during the annual competition.

This year, six individuals join this elite group, bringing the total membership of A Peer Apart honorees to 198 dedicated members.

The Sustainable Development Technical Section has been selected to receive the 2022 Presidential Award for Outstanding Technical Section. The Flow Assurance and Hydraulic Fracturing technical sections have been awarded the 2022 Technical Section Excellence Award.

The 2022 Presidential Award for Outstanding Technical Section, the first of its kind, recognizes the top 5% of the society’s technical sections.

These SPE members will be recognized during the 2022 Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in Houston in October.

These awards recognize those members who have contributed exceptional service and leadership to the Society, as well as those who have made major professional contributions to their technical disciplines at the regional level.
