The Offshore Technology Conference announced the inaugural OTC Emerging Leaders program, which will recognize young professionals from each of the OTC sponsoring, endorsing, and supporting organizations.

Nominations are now open for the 2020 IOGP Outstanding Young Professional Award, sponsored by the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers in association with the biennial SPE International Conference and Exhibition on Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability.

It may not matter whether the IOCs or the NOCs are in charge. The work to be done is the same and the same people will likely be doing it. Unconventional resources already comprise 40% of production in North America and they are expected to grow globally.
