The industry continues its move toward energy transition, demonstrating different stages among companies. These industry changes are affecting our current and future members, and SPE is working to provide guidance and education to our members through many avenues.

The SPE Strategic Plan has been updated, and the changes to SPE’s bylaws have been finalized.

The opening ceremony highlighted maximizing production sustainably to meet global demand, integration of simulation and optimization in a single platform with automation, and energy security.

The SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition is being held 31 January–2 February in The Woodlands, Texas.
